Every campus runs the same FAA Part 141 curriculum, the same airline partnership programs including the Delta Propel pathway, and the same glass cockpit fleet. Find your campus below.
SunState's flagship campus at Kissimmee Gateway Airport in Central Florida — operating since 2002 with over 20 years of career pilot training. 16,000 sq ft training center, Cessna 172S G1000 fleet, Diamond DA42 Twin Star multi-engine aircraft, and full-motion simulator on site. Delta Propel and Republic Airways RJet pipelines available. Serves students throughout Osceola County and the greater Orlando south metro.
Kissimmee Campus →Based at Long Beach Airport in Los Angeles County — a commercial service airport inside the LAX Class B airspace structure. Students train in one of the most demanding aviation environments in the country, with Southern California's marine layer providing real instrument conditions and the LA Basin's geography adding genuine cross-country complexity. Serves students throughout LA County, the South Bay, and Orange County.
Long Beach Campus →SunState is opening a new campus at Gillespie Field in El Cajon — San Diego County's primary general aviation hub. San Diego offers 330-plus flyable days per year, complex military and Class B airspace shared with Miramar and North Island, and coastal and mountain terrain for serious cross-country training. SunState Powered by Academy of Aviation offers a full FAA Part 141 career pilot program from zero time through CFI, CFII, and MEI — the same structured curriculum recognized by airline hiring departments across the country. Part 141 represents strict FAA oversight and a curriculum-based track that gets you to your ratings efficiently and on record with the airlines.
SunState participates in two of the most significant airline cadet pipelines in the country. The Delta Propel program offers a conditional flow offer to Endeavor Air for students who complete their CFI ratings and instruct at SunState, with a clear path to Delta Air Lines. The Republic Airways RJet Cadet Program connects students directly to one of the largest regional operators in the country, serving American Airlines, United Airlines, and Delta Air Lines.
